Last christmas I was in the nort of Europe. 5 days in Finland and 5 in Sweden. I took my H4 and record few things.
The first recording was made under a bridge. When I moved here, I heard a particular sound when a car passed. I tried to record quickly enough to remember who was this sound.

This second sound is the applause of thousand of people with gloves. It was in Turku in Finland during a party with the wishes of the mayor.

The last was during the big fireworks group in Stockholm for the new year. People launching rockets and firecrackers from home for several hours. It’s very impressive. In multichannel this may be even more beautiful!

Next time I will take my Nagra and more microphone because for this travel I recorded without concentration. The sounds that I brought back aren’t « usable ». So I will try to not repeat that mistake next time.
